What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines (VMs) for optimal performance
- Manage resource allocation for VMs based on workload requirements and performance metrics
- Continuously monitor the virtual environment for performance issues and optimize configurations
- Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards in the virtual environment

What is Required (Qualifications):
- In-depth knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V
- Proficiency in system administration for Windows and Unix/Linux environments
- Extensive experience in managing virtualized environments with a focus on operations
- Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation
- TS/SCI clearance

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with US STRATCOM Network & IT Operations
- Familiarity with US Air Force Network & IT Operations
- Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
