Acting as point of escalation with recurring telecommunications issues which includes root cause and remediation.
Serving as a cross-platform technical subject matter expert to facilitate the integration of voice systems with business applications and to optimize the use of carrier services while maintaining appropriate security.
Interacting with end-users and all levels of management in developing solutions to problems or creating efficiencies pertaining to Voice processes that impact the business
Keeping documentation up to date for all telecommunications systems such as toll free numbers call center routing, trunking, voice announcement scripts and circuits.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience with Avaya switch technology and related components
Azure Experience
AES servers and work with adjunct routing
Avaya media Gateways G650, G450
Avaya VOIP phones
Avaya AES- Application Enablement Services
Avaya AEP- Avaya Experience Portal
Verint V15
Call Center skills: VDN, Vector & Variables programming a must
Avaya Converged Platforms
Expertise in Avaya Communications Manager in a distributed environment Avaya Communication Manager 8.X
Avaya System and Session Manager
Session Border Controllers (SBC's)
Skype/Teams utilizing Enterprise Voice
Avaya CMS
Microsoft Teams for Voice
Telephony design, architecture, configuration, implementation, support and troubleshooting skills
Security and Vulnerability Management
Telephony Endpoints (wired/wireless/soft client)
911 regulations and solution knowledge
Strong documentation, communication skills, and ability to train others
Ability to handle being on call and after hours support
Strong communication skills written and verbal
Expertise in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem resolution
Strong organizational skills
