      Job Description:

      The Senior Wealth Management Banking Specialist (WMBS) partners with the Market Sales Director (MSD) to define and execute local strategies aimed at enhancing the client experience and deepening client relationships within an assigned geography. This role involves collaboration with the Office Management Team (OMT) to share best practices and address operational challenges. The Senior WMBS continues to support Merrill Financial Advisors in delivering tailored financial solutions to wealth management clients with assets ranging from $1 to $10 million, covering lending, savings, financing and digital services.

      As a senior member, the WMBS serves as a peer mentor, leveraging proven sales experience to enhance team performance. They balance producing responsibilities with leadership duties and act as a champion for initiatives aimed at resolving client pain points, including participating in pilot programs and council work.

      Primary Responsibilities:
      • Deliver a high-quality client experience consistent with the expectations of wealth management clients by providing comprehensive financial solutions.
      • Ensure exceptional client service quality by supporting the operational execution of tasks and conducting follow-up routines to meet client needs.
      • Act as a feedback loop and information conduit to leadership on initiatives and challenges.
      • Mentor peers within a specific geography, supporting teammates with leadership experiences and best practices.
      • Participate in pilot programs for new initiatives and serve as a subject matter expert during development phases.
      • Engage in councils and council work as needed.
      • Maintain connectivity with the OMT and Regional Directors (RDs).

      Required Skills:
      • Minimum 2-3 years or successful experience as a WMBS associate.
      • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage others in dialogues, convey sincere interest in building relationships and demonstrate a commitment to providing personalized service.
      • Proven client service skills with the ability to resolve problems independently or escalate as needed to promote client satisfaction.
      • Strong organizations skills, including the ability to manage responsibilities, prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
      • Demonstrated experience in coaching sales teams and interacting with executives.
      • Strong critical thinking skills and proficiency in professional programs (e.g., Microsoft Office).
      • Proven leadership, management and organizational skills.
      • Ability to identify challenges and develop actionable plans.
      • Experience in establishing and growing relationships with financial advisors and key business partners.
      • Ability to execute repeatable processes effectively.

      Preferred Skills:
      • Undergraduate college degree.
      • Proven track record of coaching and improving performance in others.
      • Prior sales management experience.
      • Experience managing a team across a large geography.
      • 5+ years of a successful sales experience.
      • 2-3 years of business banking experience.

      Pay and benefits information

      Pay range

      $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

      Discretionary incentive eligible

      This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
