      Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Manager Cyber Systems Engineering 2. This position will be located in Huntsville,AL and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

      What You’ll Get To Do:

      • Manage career development, goal setting, performance reviews, and merit planning for direct reports.
      • Provide mentorship, guidance, and discipline when needed, to support team growth and performance.
      • Working in an Agile engineering/development environment where you will be organizing multiple scrum teams, prioritizing/maintaining the backlog, hosting program increment planning events, etc.
      • Drive technical execution using best practices in secure development, automation, and network design.
      • Lead engineering teams in the design, integration, and maintenance of enterprise-level cyber systems.

      This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

      You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

      • Bachelor Degree and 5 years of experience or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
      • 2+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment as a scrum team leader and/or product owner
      • 1+ years of leading a project and/or driving performance again schedule
      • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP)

      These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

      • Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity or a related discipline
      • Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance
      • 1+ years of product owner experience
      • 3+ years experience with Model-based System Engineering
      • 2+ years of proven leadership skills as a people and technical leader, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills
      • Previous experience with Agile Tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, etc.)
      • Previous experience with EVMS, IMS, or scheduling activities
      • Active IAT Level III certification (e.g. CISSP), or higher

      Salary Range: $149,400.00 - $224,000.00

      The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

      Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
