  Education, Experience, Certifications and Licensure Requirements

  1. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  2. At least one year of related experience is preferred.

  Job Duties

  1. Responsible for the customer's dining satisfaction.
  2. Place food orders and deliver food and drink to residents as trained
  3. Clearing courses and performing cleaning of assigned dining areas.
  4. Participate in set-up and breakdown of special function events.
  5. Attend all mandatory in-service training sessions.
  6. Assist with the training and development of other servers as requested.
  7. Assist in restocking and sanitation of wait stations and service areas used during service.
  8. Additional duties as assigned

  Knowledge and Skills

  1. Knowledge of dining room procedures, presentation, service, bussing, customer relations and sanitation
  2. Comfortable using personal computers and handheld devices. Must be able to use Microsoft Office
  3. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
  4. Comfortable working with older adults.
  5. Able to work in a fast-paced environment, performing multiple tasks while maintaining the highest level of productivity and professionalism.

  Physical Requirements and working Conditions

  1. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  2. Extensive walking, pulling, pushing, carrying, bending, stooping and standing
  3. Ability to, taste, and smell.
  4. Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English
  5. Exposure to heat and cold in a food production environment.
  6. Must be neat and clean at all times..
  7. Cross training, flexibility and working some holidays and during inclement weather are required in dining services to meet the needs of the community
