SERVER

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Server to join our team at Galleria Hospitality. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests while ensuring a clean and organized dining area. Your main goal will be to enhance our guests' dining experience by providing prompt and efficient service. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires excellent communication and multitasking skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Server in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must have a valid Food Safety Certification (ServSafe, Louisiana Department of Health, etc.)
• Must have or be able to obtain a Louisiana Bar Card within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with POS systems
• Knowledge of food and beverage pairings
• Ability to speak multiple languages

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and take their orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions guests may have
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure that the dining area is clean and organized at all times
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are accurate and delivered promptly

Skills:

As a Server, you will utilize your excellent communication and customer service skills to provide exceptional service to our guests. You will also use your multitasking abilities to take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that the dining area is clean and organized. Your knowledge of food and beverage pairings, as well as your experience with POS systems, will be beneficial in providing an enhanced dining experience for our guests. Additionally, your flexibility to work weekends and holidays will be essential in meeting the demands of our business.
