  CAMPS MINISTRY MISSION STATEMENT
  MISSION: CRISTA Camps strives to provide memorable camp experiences where people encounter Christ and servant leaders are developed, so that lives and communities are transformed.u00A0
  POSITION SUMMARY
  The Server is responsible for working in the dining room serving guest groups that come to CRISTA Camps. u00A0Work with the Assistant Cooks and maintain the kitchen area to include washing dishes, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trashes. u00A0
  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  DUTIES
  • Set up dining room/buffets according to the number of people and situations expected.
  • Serve guests in a pleasant manner, always ready to help where needed.
  • Help Host serve snacks and beverages.
  • Set up and make coffee in large or small coffee maker. Keep counters around coffee makers clean.
  • Follow written procedures for cleaning the dining and dish room, kitchen and restrooms in order to maintain a clean working and serving environment.
  • Use server and dishwasher check lists for duties each shift.
  • Launder and care for staff shirts and aprons, so they are clean and ready when needed.
  • Maintain good personal hygiene.
  • Follow lock up procedures.
  • Follow all Food Safety and COVID protocols
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers and customers.

  • Belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior
  • Is a committed Christian who is dedicated to continued spiritual growth and development as evidenced through a growing personal walk with God (e.g. daily spiritual rhythms of prayer, fellowship, Bible study, etc).
  • Prayerfully seeks Godu2019s will in their own lives and in their ministry at CRISTA.
  • Engages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices.
  • Affirms, aligns with and supports CRISTAu2019s Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement (CCC).
  • Conducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC).u00A0

  • One year of food service experience.
