  Functional area: Procurement

  You will be working as a Category Manager in the Offshore Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Procurement Department. The successful candidate will negotiate Service and Maintenance Agreements for wind turbines.

  Your future:

  • Tendering and negotiation of large and complex service and maintenance agreements (SMA) for wind turbine generators, in multidisciplinary and international teams

  • Development, implementation, and management of purchasing strategies for Service and Maintenance Agreements for our development sites

  • Implementation of an active supplier relationship management with the service providers

  • Development and implementation of an active stakeholder management with colleagues from the development and operations team

  • Manage key performance indicators and the performance of suppliers under individual Contracts

  • Develop and maintain appropriate procurement and project records

  • Provide general commercial support to the team

  • Assist with the building of management information and reporting structures both Project specific and Procurement general performance

  • Understand and apply agreed contract terms and conditions

  • Advise and support the team on appropriate procurement methods/strategies and identify supply chain risks

  Your profile:

  • Several years of relevant experience in the management and processing of large and complex tenders for wind/ industry or infrastructure projects (Capex / Opex)

  • Extensive experience in identifying and assessing commercial contractual risks and developing strategies for risk prevention or control

  • Completed studies in engineering or economics, additional legal qualifications advantageous

  • Ability to oversee multiple contract packages and stakeholders and to lead multidisciplinary teams

  • Intercultural understanding and experience in working with different cultures

  • Very good communication skills (spoken and written) in English, other languages advantageous (e.g. German)

  • Willingness to travel as well as the willingness to stay abroad temporarily to support our international projects
