What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide hands-on leadership by mentoring, coaching, and guiding employees to foster a positive work environment
- Lead safety performance initiatives, promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Manage shift maintenance activities and resolve equipment breakdowns in coordination with the maintenance team
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across operations
- Monitor operational costs and yield, collaborating with the Plant Manager to optimize performance

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Availability and flexibility to work on various shifts as needed
- Experience in recruitment, hiring, discipline, and termination processes
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other continuous improvement programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP, Kronos/UKG, and CMMS is an asset
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to multitask in a team environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in production planning and relationship building
- Familiarity with safety, health, and environmental guidelines
- Ability to manage payroll for shifts effectively
- Knowledge of data analysis and data-driven decision-making
- Fluency in French is desirable
