      Brunswick County Operation Services is Accepting Applications for a Service Coordinator in Fleet Services.

      We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Coordinator in Fleet Services. If you have a passion for vehicle maintenance and fleet management, we want to hear from you!

      The Service Coordinator performs a variety of administrative and technical tasks for the County Fleet Services Center. This role involves managing fuel sites across the county, including data entry, networking remote locations, and preparing monthly invoices. The Service Coordinator also coordinates motor pool vehicles, initiates automotive services and repairs by diagnosing problems, writes repair orders, and maintains customer rapport and records.

      In addition, the Service Coordinator administers vehicle maintenance programs, schedules automotive maintenance, and prepares various reports to ensure the smooth operation of the fleet.

      Associate’s Degree and/or at least five years of experience in administrative work, fleet maintenance and fuel management programs; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines including calculators, computers, copiers, etc. Must be able to exert a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for periods of time.
