      Guardian Management has a need for a Full - Time Service Coordinator (Concierge) & Leasing Agent to join our team at The Louisa!

      The Louisa is a conventional apartment community in NW Portland, OR with 242 units.


      The primary purpose of this position is to maintain positive resident and prospective relations by always providing outstanding customer service to the residents. This includes but it not limited to coordinating communication between departments and residents and serving as a contact person for residents’ family members or legal representatives and assist with facilities/maintenance tasks during off-peak times. Leasing responsibilities include ensuring good physical appearance and maintenance upkeep of vacant units, coordinating cleaning and repairs of vacant units with Community Manager and Maintenance Staff, leasing in compliance with applicable government programs for the property, always adhering to Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws, and completing all required paperwork and reports on time.

      Schedule: 40 hours/week, Tuesday - Saturday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm

      Compensation: $DOE + benefits!

      Minimum Qualification Requirements

      The requirements listed below are representative, but not exclusive of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

      1. High school diploma or GED.
      2. At least one (1) year of experience working in customer service, sales, marketing or a college degree in a related field.
      3. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
      4. Possess strong technology, internet and general computer use skills and willingness to learn new programs as needed.
      5. Ability to speak, read and write in English.
      6. Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner, both verbally and in writing.
      7. Ability to complete company training requirements for this position within pre-determined deadlines and attend other training sessions as required.

      Preferred Qualifications

      1. Strong mathematical skills.
      2. Comfortability with social media platforms, willingness to manage property social media as needed.

      Essential Functions

      To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.

      1. Always represent Guardian in a positive and professional manner.
      2. Support Community Managers efforts to ensure that the company’s efforts fully meet and exceed property management obligations.
      3. Greet and acknowledge all residents and announce all guests.
      4. Work in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws (Fair Housing, Landlord Tenant Laws, OSHA, etc.).
      5. Prepare and stock coffee + supplies for residents in applicable common areas.
      6. Be creative and informative; Provide information on facilities and services, events and attractions, tours, travel routes and transportation schedules.
      7. Provide resident services such as package and dry-cleaning acceptance and retrieval, transportation options, service vendor recommendations, restaurants reservations and additional requests upon demand.
      8. Research on the internet for hot spots, new venues and eateries within the neighborhood.
      9. Greet and tour prospects, and answer questions about the property in accordance with Fair Housing laws.
      10. Record all telephone and in-person visits on appropriate reports and file guest cards according to company established procedures.
      11. Regularly walk property grounds to inspect property and vacant apartments.
      12. Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobby, elevator(s), entryways, and common areas.
      13. Keep the model unit in condition to show and assist with the coordination of requests for repairs and maintenance.
      14. Reporting any issues or maintenance needs to the Community Manager promptly.
      15. Manage resident relations by presenting information, responding to questions and concerns, and communicating effectively especially in emergency and inflammatory situations.
      16. Follow confidentiality guidelines for all resident, property, owner, and Guardian information at all times.
      17. Accurately record time worked and adhere to time keeping guidelines.
      18. Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships between departments and with coworkers.
      19. Constantly strive for improvements in work process and results to better meet resident needs, ownership goals and objectives, and company standards and expectations.
      20. Other duties as assigned by the Community Manager or Portfolio Manager.
