Employer is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Technology Support Specialist. As a part of our company, you will have the opportunity to provide essential support and problem resolution for our technology products and applications. Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor telephone calls and emails to maintain quality services and track problems for timely resolution
- Maintain written documentation for each call and escalate complex problems as necessary
- Respond to inquiries and requests for assistance with computer systems or PCs
- Utilize new utilities and tools to provide remote technical support services
- Work flexible shifts in a 24x7x365 work environment, including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications:
Education:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience required
Experience:
- 2 years of experience within a technical service call center environment
Skills/Certifications:
- Support Center Analyst certification and ITIL Foundation Certification required within the first 12 months of service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Familiarity with network protocols and configurations
- Knowledge of hardware installation and maintenance
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
