  Otis is growing and is looking for a Trainee Engineer, to be based out of Portlethen, Aberdeen covering Aberdeenshire.

  
  Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

  As a Trainee Lift Engineer, you will be expected to;

  • Work alongside a qualified Lift Engineer

  • Study towards completing your NVQ Level 3

  • Help towards the service, maintenance and repair of lifts.

  • Get involved with planning of engineering works.

  • Work efficiently and in a safe manner in accordance with all Health and Safety guidelines.

  • Liaise directly with the customer whilst on site and build a good working relationship

  Required Experience

  • Ideally to come with a technical background in electrical engineering.

  • Hold a N.V.Q/A-level or completed apprenticeship in an allied trade.

  • Overall team player, with a customer focused mindset.

  • An interest and passion in solving technical problems, to think outside the box.

  • Live within a commutable distance to Aberdeen.

  • Able to drive with access to your own vehicle.
