      Responsibilities

      • Provide technical support both on-site and remotely for laboratory equipment installed in Molecular Diagnostic (PCR) laboratories.
      • Perform installation, preventive maintenance, and extraordinary maintenance on equipment supplied to public and private laboratories.
      • Enter relevant information into the company database to track interventions and monitor KPIs.
      • Maintain proper inventory of spare parts.
      • Perform software and hardware updates for the installed equipment.
      • Frequent travel throughout Spain is essential to the role. Travel abroad may also occur, especially for training purposes.
      • Activities will cover all Molecular Diagnostics products manufactured or represented by the Company.

      Qualifications

      • Technical-scientific diploma or degree in engineering or related technical fields. Experience or equivalent knowledge gained through practical experience in the Molecular Diagnostic (PCR) field is a clear plus.
      • Solid technical or scientific background gained in industry or academia.
      • Proven experience in the maintenance and calibration of medical devices (3-5 years).
      • A valid driving license.
      • No visa restrictions preventing travel to the USA or EMEA.
      • Ability to build relationships through trust and confidence.
      • Self-motivated with a willingness to collaborate towards shared goals.
      • Ability to contribute to a team effort while also accepting individual responsibilities.
      • Excellent ability to learn continuously in a rapidly advancing technological field.
      • Capacity to take responsibility for the full installation and commissioning of sophisticated instrumentation and to instruct users in its basic operation.
      • Ability to diagnose malfunctions and resolve customers’ service problems proactively.
      • Strong computer literacy, including familiarity with data system hardware and industry-standard operating systems.
      • Familiarity with quality systems, especially ISO 9001.
      • Effective communication skills at all levels, with proficiency in both spoken and written English and Spanish.
