For over 125 years, Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens has been providing quality social services to the neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Queens, and currently offers 160-plus programs and services for children, youth, adults, seniors, and those struggling with mental illness.

STATEMENT OF THE JOB:

Under the direct supervision of the Service Fee Manager and Service Fee Supervisor (Front-end) the position is responsible for front-end administrative and organizational tasks. Communicate with program staff as needed. Comply with all agency standards, rules, practices, and procedures.

• Creating statements and billing materials to be sent directly to client.
• Collaborating with Clinic staff to resolve any missing provider information or discrepancies in credentialing
• Forms.
• Review statements for payment inconsistencies.
• Enter client information into electronic health record.
• Credentialing Providers with Medicare and Medicaid
• Perform other tasks as assigned .

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma required Associates preferred.
• 3 years of work experience in related field is required.
• Experience working with Electronic billing software, Netsmart/Evolve preferred.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications is essential.
• Able to travel throughout the five boroughs as needed.
• Ability to lift to 10lbs.
