      Purpose of Position

      The position is responsible for oversight and management of NetJets inventory in the Service Hub Materials Warehouse. In most locations, there is only one position and this individual is responsible for managing all aspects of the material warehouse. The position is responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient workflow within the operation.

      The Service Hub Material Coordinator acts as the primary materials liaison between maintenance service providers, vendors, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), other NetJets Service Hub personnel, and other organizations within NetJets as it relates to materials for their designated location. This includes identifying and implementing efficient and cost-effective storage solutions, based on overall material storage requirements. Identifying quality escapes within the materials management process and developing solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.

      The Service Hub Material Coordinator is also responsible for monthly and annual compliance audits for their location. This includes tracking and assisting in resolving compliance issues withing the operation. The position also identifies and implements efficiency and performance improvement opportunities within their area of responsibility. The Coordinator partners with Material Planning, AOG, and other departments to ensure efficient processing of NetJets, OEM, and other vendor aircraft material.

      Additional duties include purchasing inventory for stock replenishment to predetermined levels, core and unused part processing, shipping to include Hazardous Materials, and overall inventory management for their designated location. This position is also responsible for ensuring compliance to all safety and regulatory requirements.

      Tasks and Responsibilities

      • Manages inventory at assigned locations to support business and operational requirements. Ensures stock levels are maintained at the relevant Service Hub Material Warehouse and airports in the designated area. Collaborates with internal and external business partners to ensure inventory accuracy, material availability, and expeditious processing of material through material return and consumption processes. Ensures all inventory has the proper applicable trace documentation and/or inventory control documentation.
      • Assists in the processing of core components and dispositions as directed by the Materials Component Repair Group. Investigates and resolves lost core issues relevant to the assigned Service Hub. Files claims for damage or lost shipments as necessary. Manages all local hazardous waste and scrap material in compliance with regulations and NetJets policies.
      • Ensures that the Service Hub inventory space is a safe and secure environment. Ensure all functions are completed in compliance with NetJets Standard Operating Procedures, and complete monthly safety/self-audits. Assists Warranty Department with invoicing issues as necessary.
      • Ensures all site inventory transactions are performed and completed accurately in the Materials System of Record.
      • Ensures that all items shipped from the assigned Service Hub are shipped in manner that is efficient and cost effective
      • Performs cycle counts and physical inventory audits as necessary. Performs monthly audits on shelf life and inspection controlled items to ensure they are within their appropriate time requirements. Ensure physical inventories are accomplished as directed.
      • Maintain a copy of documents received with items/components in a record system that allows for ease of access to the documents.

      • Must successfully obtain and maintain Hazardous Material packing and shipping certification.
      • Working knowledge of MS Office applications.

      • Able to obtain and retain Dangerous Goods Hazardous Materials Pack and Ship Cerrtification
