      Main duties of the job

      This an exciting opportunity for a caring, compassionate, talented and experienced Service Leader to work in Knowsley managing a number of our services in supported living where we support learning disabilities, mental health & behavioural needs, whilst also promoting their choices, wellbeing and independence.This is a great opening to make a real difference to the lives of others and gain great development.With experience working in a health or social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner, as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.

      You will also have experience working with people supported who present complex behaviours that require intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times.

      In addition you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area. You will also hold a professional qualification in Health and Social Care, i.e. Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 plus supervisory units (Scotland) / Care Management Level 3 (England).
