      The Service Line Project Manager is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and oversight of initiatives that support the growth, optimization, and performance of designated clinical service lines (e.g., Cardiology, Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, Women’s Health). This role involves collaborating with departments across the health system to develop and implement plans that align with Sturdy Health’s Strategic Plan. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, an understanding of organizational development, and the ability to drive change within the health system.

      Education/Training:

      • Bachelors’ degree required.

      Licenses/Certification:

      • PMP certification preferred

      Required Qualifications and Skills:

      • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare project management.
      • Manages multiple large and smaller complex projects simultaneously.
      • Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint or Access and other web-based applications.

      Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

      • MHA, MPH or MBA preferred.
      • Lean Six Sigma training or certification.

      Essential Job Functions:

      • Project Leadership & Execution
        • Lead the planning, execution, and completion of service line projects on time and within scope and budget.
        • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and progress reports.
        • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
      • Service Line Strategy Support
        • Collaborate with clinical leadership and hospital administration to define goals, metrics, and success criteria.
        • Support the development and monitoring of service line performance dashboards.
        • Assist in market research, volume analysis, and financial modeling to support strategic decisions.
      • Cross-Functional Coordination
        • Facilitate collaboration between physicians, nursing, quality, finance, IT, and ancillary departments.
        • Ensure projects align with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
        • Serve as liaison between clinical and administrative teams to remove barriers and support workflow redesign.
      • Performance Improvement & Data Analytics
        • Facilitate the documentation of process flows (current/future state) and standardized work.
        • Develop creative approaches to quantify and report on key performance measures using qualitative and quantitative analyses. Identify sources of data for teams, including internal and external benchmarking information.
        • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as access, throughput, outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
      • Change Management & Communication
        • Support change management activities including training, stakeholder engagement, and communication plans.
        • Ensures timely and consistent communication of project status, milestones, timelines, and deliverables
        • Provide training in project management and process improvement with individuals and in group settings
        • Prepare presentations, status reports, and executive summaries.
        • Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
