We are looking for a Service Manager to join our Engineering & PLM team in Metso IT.

As a Service Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage and develop Engineering & PLM Applications Services. You will be managing IT Support partners and you work in close collaboration with application experts and Key User networks to ensure high-quality application service. In critical issues, your involvement will ensure good coordination of activities of IT teams and OEM partners in order to achieve fast resolution.

You will continuously develop and standardize our IT processes and implement and drive new ways of working across the organization. In addition, you have visibility to overall service cost, where application license optimization plays a major role.

Your key responsibilities include

• Managing subcontractors/partners and their delivery according to ITIL
• Working with application experts to ensure service quality
• Continuous development of service delivery process and ways of working
• A continuous dialogue with end-user communities, key users and business stakeholders
• License optimization decisions based on usage trends

To Succeed

To succeed in this role, you should have a Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Technology. We hope you have at least 7 years of relevant experience and preferably in running IT services in a global environment and working with partners. We appreciate your previous knowledge and experience in Engineering & PLM applications (Siemens, Autodesk, Dassault etc.). Additionally, an understanding of engineering processes, SAFe Agile and CSDM are considered as assets.

You have the ability to adapt to new things quickly and to work in an international and innovative environment. You manage and organize your own work well and you use your good collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the set targets are met in time. You have a development-oriented mindset and ambition to improve our ways to operate. You speak and write fluent English.

This position requires international traveling up to 20% of work schedule.
