      Could you be the full-time onsite Service Production Management in Los Angeles, CA, US we’re looking for?

      Your future role

      "Take on a new challenge and apply your **industrial operations and management** expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside **dedicated and collaborative** teammates.
      You'll **lead a team to optimize locomotive maintenance and repair operations while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance standards are met.** Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (**General Management, HR, and technical staff**), **conduct efficiency testing, oversee scheduling, and implement process improvements** and much more."

      We’ll look to you for:

      • Overseeing and optimizing the company’s day-to-day operations, quality control, and process development. ,

      • Performing regular efficiency (safety) testing of employees in the work group and identifying and correcting off-standard or at-risk conditions. ,

      • Leading a safe work group by promoting and enforcing Alstom's best safety practices, including quality execution of job briefings, risk assessments, risk mitigation, employee engagement, empowerment, and root cause analysis problem-solving. ,

      • Reviewing workloads and assigning appropriate staff to complete repairs, maintenance inspections, and special projects in a timely fashion. ,

      • Planning work schedules and assignments to ensure equipment is maintained within required maintenance guidelines and federal inspection intervals. ,

      • Monitoring equipment performance and the condition of repairs by auditing staff and completed tasks.

      • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. ,

      • Experience or understanding of railway operations, locomotive maintenance, and repair processes. ,

      • Knowledge of safety compliance standards, quality control practices, and process optimization. ,

      • Familiarity with Electronic Asset Management (EAM) systems such as Trapeze and timekeeping systems like Kronos. ,

      • Strong verbal and written communication skills. ,

      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. ,

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for data analysis and reporting. ,

      • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of employees. ,

      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. ,

      • Resilience and adaptability to work in dynamic shop environments and meet operational deadlines.
