      The Opportunity

      We are currently seeking experienced High Voltage Tester to be based in Melbourne where you will play a specialist hands-on role with our expanding Power Systems team as you support of a diverse range of expanding Customer assets. Our Power Systems team focuses on; Switchgear, Circuit Breakers and a variety of assets across LV / MV / HV across growing markets that are calling for our expertise.

We enable owners, end users and custodians to minimise breakdowns, increase reliability, efficiency and safety while reducing costs and simplifying operations.       This exciting new career opportunity will see you:

      • Playing a hands-on role to carry out specialist HV Testing and other field service tasks across the Victorian region and nearby locations
      • Collaborating with other technical team members in the efficient coordination and execution of complex; installations, preventative maintenance, repairs and other ad-hoc tasks
      • Commissioning, site testing, system / firmware upgrades and ad-hoc troubleshooting
      • Providing technical support and specialist advice to Customers, especially in relation to HV assets
      • Role model HS&E requirements and adhere to other internal processes
      • Documenting service activities, maintenance reports, repair logs and inventory management
      • Identifying new opportunities to expand service offerings that focus on Customer requirements

      Our ideal candidate will possess:

      • A Grade (Unrestricted) Electrical License and / or relevant Engineering Degree
      • Proven experience in HV Testing and protection relays
      • Current Drivers License (we supply a Tool of Trade Vehicle!)
      • Previous experience in a similar Field Service, Electrical or Engineering position
      • Proven technical aptitude and a digital mindset that is curious about new technologies
      • Well-developed interpersonal skills and a natural problem-solver / trouble-shooter
      • Demonstrated commitment to all things HS&E and confident in identifying risks
