  Position Summary

  ALL Crane Rental of Tennessee is seeking a Service Technician & Mechanic – Crane & Heavy Duty Truck & Trailer. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, with comprehensive benefits working in a shop environment.

  
  Essential Functions

  • Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Cranes, Heavy Duty Trucks, and Trailers.
  • Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed.
  • Reads, understands and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, and technical drawings.
  • Prepare proper documentation of actions taken.
  • Able to work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
    
    

  Skills and Experience Requirements

  • Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Must have formal diesel engine and equipment training, and experience with hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Must have basic set of mechanic’s hand tools.
  • Hands-on experience with cranes, lift equipment, and heavy duty trucks is a big plus.
  • Experience with diagnostic equipment (i.e. Cummins INSITE) is desired.
  • Ability to work safely around moving machinery; to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidity.
  • Able to lift up to 80 lbs.
