Job Description
Development of custom applications within the ServiceNow Platform to meet business requirements, including implementation of client scripts, business rules, custom workflows, and custom Service Portal widgets. This role will work directly with customers to gather and define project requirements as well as refine use case scenarios to meet those conditions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Participate in discovery sessions with customers to further refine requirements
- Development of processes that can be improved with advanced tools and automation
- Develop ServiceNow solutions through development, test and production using agile methodologies
- Collaborate with the application team to design and implement data interfaces with other enterprise application systems
- Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs including advanced scripting of each
- Create and configure Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc.
- Manage work using Agile methodologiesDesired skills
- In depth knowledge of development on the ServiceNow Platform, including client and server scripting, ServiceNow REST API, and custom widget development in Service Portal and back-end workflows.
- Experience developing, updating, and interpreting JavaScript on the ServiceNow platform
- Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, JSON, and other scripting languages
- Knowledge of ServiceNow development and configuration best practices
- Knowledge of ServiceNow database hierarchies and design
- Experience with development, customization, and administration of multiple components of ServiceNow

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
