This is an ServiceNow CMDB role though its mentioned as ETL – Big Data. it’s related to extracting data from various sources into ServiceNow CMDB and creating dashboards within ServiceNow.
Job Description:
• Help manage CMDB health within ServiceNow
• Configuration item ingestion
• Monitoring the ETL jobs
• Dashboard development in ServiceNow tool
• Work with customers to address their concerns
• Analyze and resolve discrepancies in records, ensuring data accuracy in CMDB (ServiceNow) such as inaccurate data attributes, model mapping issues, data import errors, change impacts, and duplicate records.
• Apply strong technical knowledge in the implementation and management of Change, and Service Catalog processes to enhance CMDB integrity.
• Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for CMDB updates, ensuring quality assurance.
• Update and manage Configuration Items (CIs), their attributes, and relationships within the CMDB using scripts, Import Sets, and Transform Maps
• Provide ongoing end-user support and issue resolution, ensuring timely troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Monitor key dashboards and action to maintain accurate and up-to-date metrics.
