About our team
AskOtago, the University's Contact Centre is the one-stop shop for all questions related to the University of Otago. You will play a key part in this team, working to assist University students, staff and visitors with their queries and questions regarding life and work at Otago.
The role
We are recruiting enthusiastic and proactive people to join our team as Service Representatives. In these positions, you will be part of a dynamic team who are committed to providing an excellent customer experience.
You will work across a variety of channels to assist our customers. Using available information, you will understand the customer’s situation and provide a tailored service to ensure first contact resolution wherever appropriate.
AskOtago is the first point of contact for IT Support and troubleshooting for University staff and students. If you have a passion for or experience in IT there are opportunities to specialise in this space

Your skills and experience
We're looking for applicants who:
• Have a positive, proactive approach to work.
• Have experience providing excellent customer service.

Further details
Multiple permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) positions exist within this team.
Customer service is integral to AskOtago; it is therefore important we are available to support our customers. AskOtago operating hours are 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Saturday.
Staff work on a rostered basis. Hours of work will be discussed at interview stage.
