Sessional Lecturer, INDG 241 (Beauval, SK)
The Department of Indigenous Studies in the College of Arts and Science and the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning invite applications for an Out-of-Scope Sessional Lecturer to teach the following community-based courses during the following session(s):
2025 Spring/Summer Session
Course Number, Section, and Name: INDG 241.3 (E11) Weaving Indigenous Science and Western Science
Term and Course Dates: Spring (May 5 to June 20, 2025)
CRN: 42184
Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture (live in-person).
Course Schedule: Actual days/times to be determined in consultation with the successful applicant at the discretion of program. Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; no evenings or weekends without special permission.
Expected Enrollment Limit: 35
Location: Beauval, SK (approx. 4hrs N of Saskatoon)
Qualifications: Completion of a graduate degree, in Indigenous Studies or related discipline and/or possession of relevant teaching or professional experience. Applicants must possess knowledge and understanding of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit culture as well as the socio-economic and pedagogical factors associated with teaching this body of students/
A valid driver’s license is required for any off campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
