      Job Description:

      The Set-Up C Technician supports the production needs of the operation by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines with assistance and/or direction from management or qualified associates.

      Duties and Responsibilities

      • Set-up, operate, and maintain equipment as needed to support operations

      • Make professional and lasting modifications and repairs to existing equipment with direction from management or qualified associates

      • Responsible for cosmetic criteria as specified and communicating criteria to employees

      • Relay pertinent product and quality related information to Operators, Inspectors, Supervisors, and peers , in both written and verbal forms

      • D ocumentation of production, maintenance, and QC audits performed

      • Organizing and maintaining the order and cleanliness of equipment, storage areas and the d epartment as a whole

      • Other duties and projects, as required by production and business need

      Education , Skills, and Experience :

      • High School Diploma or equivalent r equired

      • Previous manufacturing experience preferred

      • Successful completion of Mechanical Aptitude test

      • Established ability to identify and communicate issues and offer proposed solutions

      • Great attention to detail is required

      • Ability to manage interruptions in a professional and respectful manner is essential

      • Above basic math skills and reasoning ability

      • Moderate computer and Microsoft Office skills

      • Forklift certification
