      HR Lead Share Plans and Deferred Compensation (12-month FTC)
      London

      As a Barclays HR Lead Share Plans and Deferred Compensation, you will work closely with plan administrators, Trustee, Group Legal, Finance, Tax, Payrolls, the local and regional Business Reward and HR teams to facilitate the operation of the discretionary share and cash plans. More widely, you will also be involved in knowing the business issues and providing analytics to support business objectives whilst ensuring alignment with reward governance, controls, and firm wide values.

      What will you be doing?
      • Overseeing the communication process for discretionary share & cash plans actively (em-ployee communication and plan documentation)
      • Leading the annual legal due diligence process to ensure compliance with local laws and re-porting
      • Leading the Stock Exchange Announcement and Insider dealing process for PDMRs
      • Overseeing the deferred compensation suspension process actively
      • Overseeing the Death in Services accelerated delivery/releases actively
      • Helping the global process for share and cash plan buyouts
      • Carrying out share buyout valuation calculations and advising candidates and HR Business Partners on appropriate valuation methodologies
      • Assisting in the implementation of key projects covering a wide range of technical disciplines to ensure that the design and delivery of Barclays share & cash plans is world class


      What we’re looking for:
      • Excellent industry experience in deferred compensation, including knowledge of issues specific to the financial/banking sector
      • Experience of either expat tax and/or schemes/executive compensation related tax mat-ters
      • Prior experience and knowledge of data management
      • Advanced knowledge of Excel

      Skills that will help you in the role:
      • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
      • Ability to manage own time, plan workload to prioritise and meet deadlines
      • Outstanding communications skills (both written and oral)

      In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as: a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links.
