      The Opportunity:
      We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Architect to join our team and lead the design and implementation of SharePoint solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal supervision, directly interfacing with customers to create and execute SharePoint strategies from the ground up.

      Location and Travel:

      This is primarily a remote position, but the ideal candidate should be in the Bethesda, MD area for occasional on-site visits and potential NMCI Asset receipt.


      Responsibilities:

      • Architect, design, and implement SharePoint and Power Platform solutions in Office 365, including UI/UX, folder structures, and permissions. Develop and execute Information Architecture while adhering to best practices for SharePoint administration.

      • Engage with stakeholders and clients to gather, document, and validate business requirements. Design and document process flows, workflows, and user stories for SharePoint and Power Platform solutions and integrations. Establish SharePoint governance, roles, and responsibilities. Support page owners in setting up privileges, creating structures, and providing training. Facilitate project status meetings and proactively communicate potential roadblocks or dependencies.

      • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and propose solutions to complex challenges. Verify the completeness and accuracy of business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.

      • Develop and execute test cases to validate implemented solutions. Maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle, including tracking and reporting defects.


      Qualifications:

      Required:

      - 3+ years of experience designing and architecting SharePoint solutions in Office 365

      - In-depth knowledge of SharePoint standards and best practices

      - Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

      - Strong understanding of SharePoint administration, configuration, and design

      - Excellent communication skills to interface directly with clients

      - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

      - Experience in creating and implementing SharePoint governance models

      - Proficiency in SharePoint Information Architecture

      - Familiarity with UI/UX design principles for SharePoint

      - Active Secret clearance



      Desired:

      - SharePoint certifications

      - Experience with related Microsoft 365 technologies

      - An advanced degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

      - Background in training and supporting end-users

      - Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) with Government civilian, Military personnel, and other Contractors at all levels of staff and management to assure customer satisfaction and requirements have been fully met

      Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.       Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

      The proposed salary range for this position is:

      $74,600-$156,700
