      Position Title: SharePoint Developer

      Location: Remote

      FLSA Classification: Exempt - Salaried

      Employment Class: Full Time Regular

      Position Summary
      The SharePoint Developer position provides functional technical advice and assistance to the Defense Health Agency Financial Reporting & Compliance personnel. Specifically:

      Essential Duties & Responsibilities
      • Design, implement, and manage SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and permissions.
      • Configure and optimize SharePoint services, features, and settings based on organizational requirements.
      • Work closely with the users and stakeholders to analyze and determine detailed requirements as they relate to SharePoint solutions.
      • Develop out of box and custom solutions in SharePoint, Power Automate, PowerApps, etc. to build tailored solutions for our clients
      on SharePoint Online.
      • Lead development efforts for full lifecycle projects from requirements gathering through design, coding, implementation, and solution
      roll-out.
      • Determine the most effective SharePoint solution architecture and address identified business requirements.
      • Review existing SharePoint architecture, identify deficiencies, and develop solutions.
      • Create and customize SharePoint workflows.
      • Extend SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, workflows, and application technologies.
      • Provide systems training to staff and customers.
      • Provide user support for SharePoint-related issues, troubleshooting problems and resolving issues promptly.
      • Ability to do client travel as needed.

      Education & Experience Requirements

      EDUCATION:
      • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT related field or similar (an additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree).

      SYSTEM EXPERIENCE:
      • MS Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, and Excel
      • Significant experience with SharePoint Designer and/or Visual Studio
      • Proficient with multiple coding languages such as; JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, etc.
      • Experience using Web Services in a SharePoint environment (i.e. connecting to third party web services to retrieve data).

      EXPERIENCE:
      • Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
      • SharePoint Development certifications a plus.
      • Experience creating and managing web applications, creating and migrating site collections, managed metadata, site columns, content types, and custom security driven lists/libraries.
      • Hands-on experience with web/SharePoint architecture design, site branding, and navigation
      • Demonstrated experience in implementing workflows and processes to manage information using collaboration and knowledge management platforms.
      • Significant experience and comfort facilitating meetings, working sessions, and group presentations to senior leadership.
      • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
