Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team for commercial projects in the Richmond, VA area. The ideal candidate will have 4-5+ years of experience in the trade, with a strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from blueprints to complete installation and construction tasks.
• Perform mechanical installation and duct work for commercial sheet metal projects.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards.

Essential Skills

• 4-5+ years of experience in the sheet metal trade.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Experience in mechanical installation and duct work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the sheet metal trade.
• Ability to maintain a clean driving record.

Work Environment

The work shift is Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4:30 pm. Projects are typically within a 60-minute radius of Richmond, VA, including areas such as Charlottesville and Fredericksburg, VA.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
