      Basic Job Functions:

      The Electrician's role is to safely maintain electrical components throughout the plant. This includes trouble shooting and repairs, cooperating with and supporting operations, aggressively pursuing process improvement, assist with documentation and training for all equipment and other duties as assigned. Nucor teammates are expected to participate in and promote an atmosphere of cooperation and team work while maintaining compliance in all areas of the site within our Quality Control System. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • 2+ years’ industrial electrical maintenance experience

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • 2+ years’ industrial electrical maintenance experience

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Demonstrated understanding of Power concepts.
      • Demonstrated understanding of Automation technologies.
      • Demonstrated basic hydraulic/mechanic understanding.
      • 4 year Engineering Degree or equivalent applicable work experience
