      Summary:
      The shift manager is responsible for overseeing business operations, delegating tasks to team members and resolving problems that occur on their shift.
      Essential Functions:
      • Maintain optimal performance of the operations by monitoring OEE, downtime, scrap, cost saving projects a, and safety metrics.
      • Facilitator of all daily shift operations
      • Initial investigator of all issues involving hourly employees
      • Oversee on-the-job training.
      • Enforcement of production, quality, housekeeping, and safety standards.
      • Endure proper and timely application of all process improvements.
      • Organize, plan, and prioritize work to develop specific goals to exceed customer expectations.
      • Coach, mentor, and develop others.
      • Develop and build teams to encourage mutual trust, respect, and cooperation.
      • Monitor equipment for maximum performance.
      • Responsible for all personnel’s safety, conduct and discipline.
      • Responsible for all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
      • Responsible to ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
      Qualifications:
      • Related bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; two to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Previous automotive operations management experience preferred.
      • High energy and experience in inspiring and motivating cross-functional teams.
