      Job Description:

      The Role: SHINE New Graduate Nurse (RN) Residency – Behavioral Health

      • Provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

      ***$4000 Early Acceptance Incentive offered to qualified SHINE candidates***

      • Candidates must apply at least 6 weeks prior to their graduation date.
      • Offer letters must be signed within 1 week of being received by the candidate.
      • Incentive is paid out in 3 increments over the first year of employment.

      The Work:

      About SHINE Behavioral Health Residency:
      • Residency positions are full benefits eligible, permanent staff positions.
      • The Behavioral Health clinical track consists of a comprehensive med/surg orientation with a high-performing preceptor. The length of this orientation is tailored to each individual’s own progress.
      • At the end of their med/surg orientation, the nurse resident transitions to Behavioral Health for a customized orientation on that unit. This model ensures the nurse resident is confident in their clinical skills and successful in their specialty once orientation is complete.
      • Other commitments during the year-long residency program include clinical training, classroom, and online learning to strengthen all areas of practice.

      You Have:

      Expected graduation date from an accredited Nursing school in Fall/Winter of 2023/2024 or less than 6 months of RN experience

      Maine state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or ability to obtain after achieving a passing score on the NCLEX, required
