      Requirements


      • U.S. Citizenship is required.
      • Applicant is required to meet the physical requirements of the position.
      • The position requires a valid state driver's license.
      • Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.

      Qualifications


      Applicants will be evaluated on their ability to perform the duties of the position rather than the length of experience. Eligibility will be determined by the relevance, scope, and quality of all experience and training, regardless of where or how acquired.

      Applicants will be rated and ranked based on their knowledge of the following job elements:

      * Ability to perform the work of the position without more than normal supervision (SCREEN OUT ELEMENT)
      * Knowledge of Equipment, Structures, Material, etc.
      * Ability to interpret instructions, specifications
      * Layout and Pattern Development
      * Ability to use hand tools, power tools, etc, for metal work
      * Dexterity (Assembly, Disassembly, Reassembly etc)
