Shipping Clerk

Job Description

A distribution site for testing equipment is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team. The shift is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select, mix, stage, and package various components in support of the process.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory control tasks.
• Utilize shipment equipment effectively.
• Maintain attention to detail and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality.
• Collaborate as a team to execute daily production goals.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations including counting, adding, subtracting, and multiplying.
• Maintain a positive attendance record, strong work ethic, and proactive approach to responsibilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to successfully perform a wide range of tasks such as labeling, kitting cell set up/staging, measuring and pouring reagents, and kit assembling.
• Expected to perform all tasks according to standard operating procedures in the warehouse.
• 3-4+ years of experience as an inventory control clerk (forklift experience is a plus).
• Great communication skills to respond to emails with customers ensuring shipment accuracy.

Warehouse shipping environment with a small team of about 5 people.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
