Job Description
- Req#: 282093
- Pick, fill and ship sales orders for various Lighthouse Industries products.
- Basic typing and computer skills are required as well as familiarity with sales order forms and other pertinent shipping documents.
- Ability to ship products utilizing the UPS and FedEx computer software.
- Assist in loading and unloading freight elevator and trucks.
- Receive incoming shipments, process and verify incoming packing slips and accurately distribute incoming shipments.
- Utilize and organize Shipping Department floor space to ensure that finished products are placed in designated areas.
- Adhere to safety rules and procedures and provide a safe, clean and well-organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- One year of previous shipping experience preferred.
- Ability to set priorities and work independently is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move pallets required on an intermittent basis.
