Job Description

- Salary range for Shipping/Logistics Coordinator - $28/hr
- Schedule - Morning shift (6 am-2:30 pm)

- Plan and coordinate the shipment of goods, ensuring that products reach their destination in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Verify and maintain shipping and receiving records, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Serve as a point of contact between suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure that products meet the required standards and specifications.
- Address any discrepancies or damages and work with relevant parties to implement corrective actions.
- Investigate and resolve shipping-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and prevent future issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in shipping coordination or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of shipping procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using shipping software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must have a good eye for detail
- People-oriented and must be able to effectively communicate.
