Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Scarborough, as the Shipping/Logistics Coordinator :

• Plan and coordinate the shipment of goods, ensuring that products reach their destination in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Verify and maintain shipping and receiving records, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare and review shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Serve as a point of contact between suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to provide updates on shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure that products meet the required standards and specifications.
• Address any discrepancies or damages and work with relevant parties to implement corrective actions.
• Investigate and resolve shipping-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and prevent future issues.

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in shipping coordination or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of shipping procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using shipping software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must have a good eye for detail
• People-oriented and must be able to effectively communicate.
