  The Sh i pp i ng Recei v i ng Clerk performs clerical and p h ysical tasks in con necti on w i th shi pp ing g o o ds and recei v i ng i n c o m i ng s h i p men ts.

  Work involves:

  Shipping Duties:

  • V erifyi ng t hat o r d ers are acc urately filled by c o m pari ng it e ms and q u a n tities of g oo ds gat h ered for sh i p ment against d ocu men ts
  • In suring t hat shi p men ts are pr op erly pac k a g e d, i den tified w ith s h ip p ing inf ormati on, and l o a ded i n to tra n s p orting veh icles
  • Prep aring a nd keep ing records of go ods sh i pped, e.g., man ifests, b ills of lad i n g.

  Receiving Duties:

  • Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
  • V erifyi ng t he correct n ess of i n c o m i ng sh i p m en ts by co m pari ng items and q u a n tities u n l o a ded a gai nst b ills of lad in g, i n v o ices, man ifests, storage recei p ts, or o t her records
  • Ch ec k i ng f or damaged g oo ds
  • In s uri ng t hat g oo ds are a p propriately i den tified f or r ou ting to depart men ts w it h in t he esta b lish men t
  • Pre pari ng and keep i ng rec o rds of g oo ds recei ved

  Applicant may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehouse duties.

  All work will be performed on site during regular scheduled working hours.

  Required Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and hold a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Valid US Driver’s License
  • Ability to frequently lift 50lbs
  • Ability to obtain forklift license
  • Ability to work overtime as requested
  • Must past periodic drug screening

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Active forklift license
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, innovative, and proactive
  • Organized and capable of multitasking
