Description
Shop Help (Night Shift – High Priority, 1:30/2:00pm start time) (Day Shift 7am) We are urgently seeking CNC Operators to support our day/night shift operations. This role is critical to our production workflow and offers the opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment Operate a CNC Lathe (Gen Mill)(Mitsubishi controls) Monitor production quality and troubleshoot issues Load and unloading material to CNC Finishing grinding Sharpening materials Follow safety and quality standards Preferred Qualifications: CNC experience Sharpening experience Prior experience in a manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Willingness to work night shifts 2. Precision Grind Technician (Night Shift) We are also hiring Precision Grind Technicians for our night shift. This role involves working with high-precision grinding equipment to meet exacting specifications. Productivity Log time and production quantities accurately using LYNQ software. Review work orders (“travelers”) to understand material and time requirements. Keep production and maintenance logs up to date. Stay focused and manage time effectively to maintain steady workflow. Monitor and improve processes to boost efficiency and reduce waste. Safety & Environmental Follow all safety protocols, wear PPE, and report hazards. Handle materials safely and dispose of waste properly. Always perform “Safe Start” checks on machines after changes. Comply with all plant safety and environmental guidelines. Quality Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet quality standards. Identify and correct defects promptly. Housekeeping Keep the work area clean and organized (5S standards). Return tools to proper places and dispose of dirty shop towels. Clean work holding devices and inspection tools throughout the day and at shift end. Grind Cell Operations Eco/Trode: Load/unload machines and perform safe starts. Run wheel dressing programs and adjust setups. Inspect parts with 10x loupe and fine-tune with hand files. Perform tool/wheel changes and make offset adjustments. Troubleshoot and diagnose machine issues. Okamoto: Load/unload parts and set up fixtures. Perform manual and automated surface grinding. Use gauge blocks to adjust angles. Hone/Sharpen: Sharpen blades and inspect with 10x loupe. Test blade cuts and install set screws as needed. Debur: Use buffing wheels to remove burrs and polish parts. Hand-finish tool profiles to meet specifications. Other Duties Train and support less experienced team members. Participate in inventory counts and 5S activities. Provide feedback for process improvements. Attend safety training and assist with other tasks as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
