      Qualifications

      Position Summary:


      NiteHawk Sweepers is seeking a motivated and experienced individual for an immediate Production Supervisor position. This is an exciting opportunity with tremendous growth potential. The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing a team of assemblers and fabricators to produce high-quality sweeper trucks and other products. This role involves planning and overseeing production schedules, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining quality standards. The Production Supervisor will collaborate with various departments and have opportunities for growth and advancement.

      Essential Functions:

      • Plan production work to maximize efficiency and set deadlines.
      • Establish quality control standards aligned with company policy, engineering design, and customer needs.
      • Manage assembly and fabrication teams.
      • Coordinate with Purchasing Supervisor on materials, parts, and information needs.
      • Manage waste and returns of unused material and supplies.
      • Administer preventative maintenance program on equipment and vehicles.
      • Prioritize and demonstrate safety in all aspects of work.
      • Maintain and update ERP integration.
      • Maintains and updates JDE integration .

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):

      • Strong organizational and managerial skills.
      • Experience in automotive hardware installation and reading engineering drawings.
      • Excellent communication skills and ability to write or speak technical instructions.
      • Knowledge of Bills of Material, routing, and JD Edwards ERP functionality.
      • Analytical skills and ability to work with technical manuals.
      • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience.
      • Able to organize, direct, budget, control and manage a production facility.

      Education and Experience:

      • A High school diploma or GED required .
      • Undergraduate degree in Management , Eng ineering preferred.
      • Minimum three years of managerial experience in a production environment.
      • Automotive hardware installation experience preferred.
      • Preferred: ASE Certified
      • Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment checks.

      Working Conditions:

      • Office and metal manufacturing environment.
      • Occasional lifting/pushing of 50 pounds and manual dexterity required .
      • May require travel .
