Job Description

- Responsible for delivering training programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of shop floor employees. This includes ensuring that all operators are competent in their roles and adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Conducting Training Sessions: Deliver hands-on training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations on various shop floor tasks, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Onboarding New Employees: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they understand their roles, responsibilities, and safety procedures.
- Performance Assessment: Evaluate the performance of trainees through assessments, observations, and feedback sessions to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in training programs and shop floor processes, and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all training programs comply with industry regulations and company policies, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and instructions.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of shop floor operations, machinery, and safety protocols.
- Instructional Skills: Ability to design and deliver engaging and effective training sessions.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address training-related issues and improve processes.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with trainees and work collaboratively with other departments.
- Previous experience working on the shop floor in a similar industry is essential. Experience in a training or supervisory role is highly desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in training, safety, or relevant technical fields are advantageous.
