  Job Title: Shopper Marketer

  The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
  

  As a(n) Shopper Marketer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Knowing the shopper group you’re responsible for intimately, what they want/need and how they shop.
  • Developing a solid understanding of 3M brands, products and brand campaigns.
  • Leading the creation, execution and measurement of a Shopper Marketing Plan for a specific Account/Channel.
  • Building relationships with key Marketing personnel at our account and being highly collaborative with Sales Reps and Category Development Managers.
  • Evaluating the financial viability of various marketing tactics and managing budget.

  Your Skills and Expertise
  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Five (5) years of combined experience in sales, marketing, analytics and/or category management in the consumer-packaged goods industry working in a private, public, government or military environment

  Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills with demonstrated experiences in leading cross-functional teams, managing differing interests and perspectives.
  • MBA Degree from an accredited learning institution with an emphasis in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred
  • Previous experience in a shopper marketing role or advanced analytics role.
  • Demonstrated project management and budget management skills.

  Work location:

  • Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to [3M HQ – St Paul, 3M California, Irvine location] at least [4] days per week

  Travel: May include up to [20%][domestic/international]
