Job Description
- Req#: 136363
- Set-up, adjusts, and operates paint guns, regulators, paint pumps, and pressure gages per work instructions, prints, D-sheet and /or production order specifications.
- Properly load/unload parts on conveyor line with assistance of a lift truck (as necessary) per work instruction, prints, D-sheets and/or production order specifications.
- Repair/rework parts to meet quality specifications using Bondo, rubbing compound and polishes per work instructions, prints, D-sheets, and /or productions order specifications.
- Move materials using lift trucks, hoist and bridge crane.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Refill and dispose of empty paint barrels.
- Notify Supervisor or Group Leader of any safety, quality or production issues as they occur.
- Train operators as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prior painting experience preferred
- Must be able to read, understand drawings and production order travelers.
- Must be able to listen, communicate and understand verbal instructions.
- Must have organizational skills.
- Must understand basic math, including decimals.
- Must be able to remember, reason, and analyze.
