      • BA/BS in Marketing, Business or Sales is preferred/ Associate’s Degree minimum
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
      • High level of computer literacy: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
      • 2- 3 years of merchandising and inventory management experience with at least one year of luxury showroom experience preferred
      • Ability to prioritize and handle additional responsibilities as required and assigned even if it means extending work hours during busy moments.
      • Works well independently and is highly organized, and analytical

      This is a replacement for a headcount that is leaving the position. The Showroom Specialist plays a key role in enhancing the customer experience by coordinating travel for buying meetings, managing samples and storytelling, supporting digital sales tools, and handling catering and showroom upkeep.
      • Why the assignment cannot be completed by an internal resource
      This assignment requires specific timing and capacity that is currently unavailable within our internal team. Given existing workloads, resource constraints, leveraging external support ensures the work is completed efficiently and to the required standard.


      Summary
      We are looking for a Showroom Samples Coordinator who will be managing own newly renovated NYC flagship showroom. This person will be responsible for 1-floor including our Ray-Ban, Oakley, Arnette, and Vouge brands. This person will support NYC showroom needs as well as maintain and prepare samples for customer sales meetings.
      Major Duties and Responsibilities
      • Showroom management and schedule coordinator
      • Oversee and maintain the organization, labeling, tracking and inventory of all received samples
      • Planning customer travel to NYC showroom events
      • Samples support for customer meetings, brand training, and PR events
      • Maintain local samples calendar for coordinating sample shipments to/from meetings, tradeshows, trunk shows, and buying days

      Knowledge and Skills
      • Strong computer skills (including advanced Excel- pivot tables and vlookups)
      • Previous experience working in luxury fashion/retail environment (working with samples and samples management preferred)
      • Inventory tracking/management
      • Client facing customer service experience
      • Excellent time management, organizational skills, ability to multi-task and adapt to change, problem solving skills
