      A sign painter's primary role is to prepare, paint, refinish and refurbish metal cabinets, structures, channel letters, bases, and/or other sign components. Other responsibilities include proactively planning, collaborating, and communicating with department purchaser to ensure necessary materials are available to complete work, applying various painting mediums to surfaces using appropriate methods and /or manufacturer’s instructions to achieve a professional quality of finish, as well as performing all primary tasks relative to patching, surface preparation, and painting.
