What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as primary point of contact for technical issues related to Simcenter 3D and Nastran
- Facilitate the sales process and assist in software deployment
- Conduct training sessions and technical discussions with customers
- Perform benchmark simulations and create Knowledge Base articles
- Collaborate with product management and industry teams to provide input on future product direction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, or related field
- Successful application of finite element analysis in research or design
- Experience with linear statics, buckling, and normal modes
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to travel up to 20%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with Simcenter 3D, Nastran, or similar tools
- Working knowledge of common design processes in Aerospace, Turbomachinery, Automotive, etc.
- Experience with structural analysis, acoustics, and design optimization
