      What you’ll be doing

      At Simplii Financial, we provide personalized, simple, yet flexible digital experiences for our clients, and accelerate revenue growth for our bank. Our client-centered approach builds relationships and improves sales and service through our digital and contact centre channels.

      As an Analytics Co-op, you’ll be promoting the value of data by optimizing our digital products and keeping our client experience improving at an accelerated pace. You will be a key member of the team responsible for managing and implementing data initiatives at Simplii. You will provide tactical insight, consultation and support to Digital programs and initiatives including building dashboards and tracking key metric movement.

      At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

      Important information

      • You are enrolled in a degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics), Business, Commerce, or a related field at the time of the work term with a graduation of December 2026 or later.

      • Duration of Work Term: 8 months (September 2025 – April 2026).
      • We may ask you to complete an attribute-based assessment and other skills tests (such as simulation, coding, French proficiency, MS Office).       How you’ll succeed

      • Strategic Thinking Approach - Execute on our data strategy to implement analytics platforms that enable the extraction of insights that can help the business monetize on data assets captured.
      • Team Player – Collaboratively work with cross-functional teams across Digital, Sales, Strategy and Technology to ensure timely end to end enablement of data Marketing and Technology initiatives on our roadmap
      • Big Picture - Analyze and translate raw data from a variety of sources into performance metrics so that we can extrapolate insights and learnings that enhance the client experience. Create and manage KPI reporting and dashboards.
      • Relationship Building – Forge strong relationships with business and internal partners and stakeholders to effectively communicate objectives, data analysis, and solutions
      • Enablement - Strong acumen to understand business requirements, develop self-service dashboards, showcase key insights to stakeholders through impactful storytelling and visualization.
