What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Own the governance of planning templates and dbt models, setting and enforcing policy parameters
- Lead the migration from Excel to dbt frameworks in Snowflake and collaborate on forecast models
- Manage data integrations with NetSuite and Salesforce, ensuring high data quality standards
- Conduct scenario planning and develop simulation capabilities for supply chain configurations
- Train planners on template and dbt usage while mentoring colleagues on best practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Applied Statistics, or a related field (MS preferred)
- 6–10+ years of experience in planning science, specifically in forecasting and inventory optimization
- Strong SQL and dbt experience, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with platforms like Atlan/Snowflake
- Proven ownership of analytics/plan platforms, including backlog and change control management
- Demonstrated change leadership with measurable improvements in FVA and planner adoption
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with ERP and CRM integrations, preferably NetSuite and Salesforce
- Understanding of the K-12 education business model and its seasonality
- Familiarity with complex demand scenarios, including kits and BOMs
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex data models to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
