Job Description
- Req#: 72329
- Processing movements of items through BPCS or other specified ERP system.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Follow through and assisting with breakdown issuing and ordering.
- Assist with the expediting of orders.
- Documentation flow in and out of the warehouse.
- Assist with Health & Safety in the warehouse and control of PPE.
- Stock counts / Cycle counts.
- Assist with the management of consumable items.
- Housekeeping
- Security
- Assist to maintain GIT, nothing older than 4 days.
- Assist with the regional distribution of spares and equipment.
- Maintain accurate filing systems of all documents with special emphasis on P.O.D.'s.
- Adhere to and support QA processes.
- To carry out additional duties as may become necessary to ensure the successfuloperation of the company.
- Grade 12
- Relevant Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Warehousing.
- A minimum of 5 years administrative experience in a warehousing role.
- Three years relevant Mining/Engineering in an mining environment.
- Technical aptitude and technical GET background an advantage.
- Code B drivers licence
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Implementation and internal auditing experience.
- Auditors courses for Safety and Risk Control Management
- Risk Assessment Techniques (SWIFT ,HAZOP and FMECA,WRAC and HIRA, etc).
- Good understanding of the MHS Act and Operational Application of Legislation.
- Legal Compliance Auditing experience will be advantageous.
- ITIS/Train the Trainer
- MS Office, Knowledge and Applications.
- Computer literacy
- Good working knowledge of ERP systems. BPCS experience would be advantageous.
- Excel• MS Office and Lotus Notes
- Interpersonal skills to work with customers (external and internal) and suppliers.
